Lucas Stang, PA-C, graduated from Goucher College in Towson, Maryland in 1984 with a B.A. in Biology. He moved to California and completed a graduate program in Science Communication at the University of California. He then owned and operated a writing and photography business specializing in health education materials.

In 1990 he spent two years in the Philippines teaching at the International School of Manila. Later he completed the Physician Assistant program at the University of California, Davis. He practiced Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Urgent Care for almost nine years before moving to Oregon with his wife, Loren. He now sees patients at Dunes Family Health Care.
